Ars Memorandi Mori

My first week at the clinic ends on Friday. So far, its been a lot of orientation and little else. The place is huge; bigger than you can imagine. They serve over 2000 patients a day. That's a lot.

I start in the city tomorrow. Our assignment is basically to drive around a part of Cleveland that is less than reputable and meet some of the locals. Our homework is to hang out in the library, the post office, some diners, and take notes about what we learn. It should be interesting.

I'm also on call for the first time on Saturday night from 4:30 to 8 the next morning. I've been told there are an average of 2-3 deaths a night, but there are more on the weekends for some reason. Wish me luck.
